Preparation and Usage
Top Tips for House Training Your Puppy
1 Unfold the puppy pad and position on the floor with the blue plastic side facing down. Ensure the pad is placed in an area away from their food and bed.
2 Look out for signs that your puppy may need to go to the toilet, these include sniffing, circling and starting to squat. If you notice any of these signs, immediately place your puppy on the pad.
3 After your puppy uses the pad, reward them with praise or their favourite treat. If you notice your puppy trying to relieve themselves somewhere else, place them straight back on the pad again.
4 Discard any soiled pads and replace with a fresh, clean one.
5 Once your puppy knows to use the pad, move it towards the door and then eventually place outside in a suitable area.

Bonus Tip
House training takes time and patience. Don’t punish your puppy for the odd mistake during training, instead stay positive and ensure they are rewarded with treats and affection when they get it right. Ensure your puppy has a regular feeding routine, so that you know when to pay most attention to signs they need to use the pad. You can be there to move your puppy if needed.
